Timeless Poster Designs by Tom Eckersley

Tom Eckersley was known best for his iconic posters and as a former design professor at London College of Printing (now the London College of Communication). Some of his earliest known works were safety posters for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

Throughout his career, he designed posters for various organizations in England, such as the United Nations Children’s Fund, the BBC, the Ministry of Information, Guinness, and the World Wide Fund for Nature.

Tom’s influences, such as A.M. Cassandre and Max Ernst, can be seen in his minimalistic approach to communication design and when combined with a wise color palette helped to provide aesthetically pleasing and effective messages that defined his work.
